C4 Performance Energy — Cosmic Rainbow

It's okay — just not what I was expecting.

The Review

I saw someone describe the Cosmic Rainbow flavor as tasting like Nerds, so I was really excited to try it. Unfortunately, I don't really get a Nerds flavor from it. To my taste buds, it's more like what I imagine sugar-free Skittles would taste like — a sweet, fruity candy flavor, but without quite as much punch.

The zero sugar isn't the issue for me. I exclusively drink sugar-free drinks, so I'm very used to the taste of artificial sweeteners.

The drink itself is decent, and I like the 200mg of caffeine, but based on the hype around the flavor, I was expecting something closer to that tart, candy-like Nerds taste.
